Muirhead is a leading leather tannery business supplying some of the biggest aviation and mass transit businesses in the world, with very high-quality leather. As an integral part of the Scottish Leather Group, a seventh-generation, family-owned business with combined revenues in excess of £140m a year, Muirhead has a long and rich heritage.

This was no simple rebranding project. To gain the deepest possible understanding of the Muirhead business and the brand itself, seven, on-location workshops with 49 stakeholders from across the three business areas.

The key messages and visual brand language was delivered beautifully through documentary photography and film-making, allowing Muirhead to showcase its cutting-edge approach to craft, natural resources and its industry-leading commitment to sustainable practice.

The overall result was the creation of a comprehensive brand, communications and design strategy that positions Muirhead as the maker of the finest and most sustainable natural leather in the industry.
