Our ‘Get Help or Get Caught’ campaign for Police Scotland targets sexual predators who groom and abuse children online.
Many offenders don’t view their online behaviour as ‘real’ or problematic, and use the Internet as a way to distance themselves from the crime. By placing their online behaviour in an offline environment, we remind offenders that grooming a child is serious, whatever the context – and so are the consequences.
Launched across social media platforms, the campaign highlights Police Scotland’s partnership with Stop It Now; a charity offering confidential advice to anyone worried about their own behaviour, or that of someone else.
The message is clear – Get Help or Get Caught.
