HARRY BENSON: SEEING AMERICA

In the run up to the 2016 Presidential election, Stand worked with The Scottish Parliament to deliver an exhibition showcasing Harry Benson’s iconic photography of America from the early 1960s to today.

Stand collaborated with the Scottish Parliament curator, and Harry Benson himself, to plan and enhance visitor experience by bringing historical context to the photography through Harry’s eyes.

JOHN BELLANY AND THE SCOTTISH WOMEN’S HOSPITALS

Acknowledging 100 years since the end of WW1, some of the final works by renowned Scottish artist John Bellany went on public display in January 2016 at the Scottish Parliament.

As well as showcasing some of Bellany’s previously unseen works, the exhibition was underpinned by the story of the Scottish Women’s Hospitals and their role in providing field hospitals across Europe in the First World War.

Working in collaboration with the Scottish Parliament’s curator, Stand designed the visitor journey through
a multi-media delivery of facts, stories, personalities and artworks.
