The spiced rum sector relies on sailor and pirate clichés. We looked elsewhere and dug into Glasgow’s history to build an authentic brand story around ‘The Banditti Club’ - rebellious rogues with a taste for rum - to create an identity (and bottle) that stands out.

Develop
In the early 1800s Glasgow’s sugar and spice trade fed a local tradition of distilling and spicing rum. It, not whisky, was the city’s favourite tipple, fuelling the Banditti Club and their pranks played on unfortunate neighbours.
Deliver
We collaborated with Los Angeles artist TIMBER! His illustrations capture the essence of the Banditti and position the new spirit clearly and boldly in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
